Having created a brand new website, I thought I would share my first Blog entry with you and what better way to start than with my latest news...
The Royal Photographic Society has awarded me my Fellowship for my portfolio entitled 'The Factory'.
My portfolio focuses on the complex dynamics and non-verbal communication found in personal relationships.
The inspiration for my project came when I randomly visited a disused mannequin factory. It was not simply a building filled with endless, dismembered bodies – to me it was a part of my life being played out in front of me.
Opportunities like this are few and far between. The concept in my head was very strong and resonated with the environment I found myself in. I knew I had the opportunity for a serious body of work, one that reflects some powerful emotions and feelings.
